A cotton fabric base (canvas) phenolic laminate produced from fabric weighing at least 4 ounces per square yard, with a thread count of not more than 140 total in both directions. It is strong, tough, and has high impact strength. It machines easily and is excellent for a jump/break tip or ferrule. Please note that the industry standard when manufacturing this material, for the rod lengths, is +/- 2" inches.
