Canvas Micarta has its origins in the electrical industry and has been used wherever a stable insulator was required. Canvas Micarta consists of canvas fibers and is pressed with a resin component under pressure and heat to form a duromer. Due to its robustness and lightness, Canvas Micarta is often used for exclusive knife handles or for similar outdoor products.

The special canvas fibers and the phenolic resin promise a long service life and are very weather-resistant. Canvas Micarta is easy to process and shape, which is why it is particularly suitable for hunting knives, but also for making jewelry.
