G10 is a high quality composite material used in aircraft and racing car construction.
G10 consists of glass fiber mats and is pressed together with a resin component to form a laminate. Due to its stability, resistance and lightness, G10 is often used for knife handles or similar outdoor products, but especially for full tang knives. The fibers and the adhesive promise a long service life and result in a very weather-resistant composite material.
G10 can be easily processed and shaped and is therefore also often used for jewelry production.
