Very good material, more grain will be excellent addition.
Similar to other Elforyn products , this one is very good for processing, drilling, etc. Doesn't accept any colors from dyes or stains used on wood, heat resistant at higher grade. One thing I expected and cannot see is more grain inside. When used as small adornments, the grain is not always visible. It will be good to have more grain in the material.

Seems expensive but really is great stuff to work.
This stuff seems expensive, until you begin to work it, the hardness and smooth cutting makes it a pleasure to work with. The end cap of a lovely antique boxwood and ivory flute was missing, a tricky thing to turn but this material made it easy. Polished up with a little turmeric in the mix brought it near to the tone of the original fittings, I have a lot left for future projects so in fact really good value.

Das Material ist gut, der Preis ist hoch, für meine Zwecke würde an dünnerer Stab völlig genügen (25 - 30 mm im Durchmesser) oder von vornherein mit einer Innenbohrung. Bei der Garnierung für die Blockflöten fertige ich im Prinzip nur Ringe an, deshalb entsteht bei 35 mm Durchmesser ziemlich viel Abfall.

Selten findet man ein Material wie Elforyn Super Tusk das Elfenbein in der Optik so nahe kommt. Dafür 10 Punkte. Beim Drechseln muss man die Drechseleisen sehr oft nachschärfen da das Material die Schärfe rasch reduziert. Beim Drechseln dünnwandiger Teile
