Osage Orange - Maclura Tinctoria

Osage Orange is, as the name suggests, from intense dark yellow to orange color. It continues to darken under light to orange. The grain varies from straight to swirling and also varies from subtle yellow to orange. This wood is considered particularly hard and tough in terms of its density.
