The essential characteristics of Elforyn Super Tusk are:
excellent mechanical machinability i.e. for drilling, milling, grinding and polishing,
minimum breakage risk due to high coefficient of elasticity and high elongation,
high-quality surface due to high surface hardness and minimal abrasion losses,
resistant to all conventional substances such as cleaning agents, oils, greases, weak / medium acids and bases,
very low water absorption (hydrolysis resistant),
possibility of thermal moulding in boiling water,

Great looking product and very well made. Only downside is it becomes soft and easily bends when turning on a lathe. Had to keep stopping and let it become cold..

Super Tusk and Black Juma are my favorite materials form knife handle making. They polish well with a stunning mirror effect. Super Tusk has a texture similar to Retzius Line that makes it very similar to natural Ivory

Sehr einfach zu bearbeiten.Dem echten Elfenbein sehr ähnlich und hat zudem beim schleifen oder sägen einen sehr angenehmen Geruch!

Das Elforyn Super Tusk ist ein Material, welches sich sehr gut bearbeiten lässt. Ich drechsel es und benutze es auch für Teile bei denen ich es mit Holz kombiniere/verklebe. Es lässt sich nach dem Schleifen zu sehr gutem Hochglanz polieren. Ich habe Vierkant und Rundstäbe bereits bearbeitet.

bon materiaux pour des médiators.
Je l'utilise pour fabriquer des médiators . le seul truc dommage c'est que pour des matériaux esthétiques comme le "juma serpent" il n'existe pas des barres 37x37x300 ou le motif apparais sur la section carré de 37x37 pour permettre de découper des tranches sur toute la barre , sinon je vous en aurais aussi pris.
