G10 is a high quality composite material used in aircraft and racing car construction.
G10 consists of glass fiber mats and is pressed together with a resin component to form a laminate. Due to its stability, resistance and lightness, G10 is often used for knife handles or similar outdoor products, but especially for full tang knives. The fibers and the adhesive promise a long service life and result in a very weather-resistant composite material.
G10 can be easily processed and shaped and is therefore also often used for jewelry production.
In addition to the technical properties, we offer G10 in many different colors and strengths.
Material noch nicht verarbeitet aber scheint eine gute Qualität zu sein. Schade ist, dass das Material eher in 8mm Stärke kommt. Besser zu viel als zu wenig, aber wenn man beabsichtigt 6mm bestellt um nicht nicht mehr fräsen/schleifen zu müssen ist es ärgerlich!
